David Todd Singleton, known as daVid is a R&B/Pop singer/songwriter/pianist who is seeking a permanent home for his catalog of 180 + original songs including the new album HOPE. daVid currently lives in Lexington, KY and has performed on local television and was part of NBC's season three of America's Got Talent. Simon Cowell was quoted as saying “...daVid's performance was perfection”. Sharon Osborne upon first seeing daVid exclaimed, with cameras rolling, “...my my my, what a pretty boy you are!” in front of a screaming throng of over 3,000 young girls.

daVid is unsigned and in the studio finishing recording on his third album, HOPE. daVid's single from the HOPE CD, We'll Rise Again is currently being considered for inclusion on the NEW MOON movie soundtrack, next in the Twilight saga.

daVid was born in Grand Rapids, MI and began singing and playing the piano at four years of age. At age six, his family moved to Orlando, FL where he was quickly spotted by a talent scout from Disney and placed as a primary singer/dancer in Walt Disney World's The Electric Light Parade. When daVid turned 12, his family moved once again, this time to Corvallis, OR where daVid would go on to receive high honors in his school's music programs and The Best Male Vocalist Award at the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival. daVid graduated one of three valedictorians from Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis and won a full music scholarship to Emerson College in Boston, MA. After college, daVid moved to L.A.. While singing in a local nightclub, daVid was invited by Donny Wynn – Robert Palmer's drummer, to record on the Riptide album and he appeared on the single, Addicted To Love. daVid's next move would find him playing the piano and singing in Nashville at the industry hot spot, The 106 Club where he became an instant favorite of many in the Nashville music scene including Wynonna Judd and Steve Winwood.

daVid's single The Writing On The Wall, from his 2007 CD Just Trust In Me, is being featured on Lakeland Records' 2009 Compilation CD. The single is being added to radio playlists throughout the United Kingdom and is available on iTunes. daVid's long term music career plan is to be signed to a record label and continue writing, recording, and performing original music including movie soundtrack scoring; eventually aspiring to discover new unsigned talent.

daVid's newest album HOPE is the culmination of all of his years' experiences and influences to date. Deeply entrenched inside each of HOPE's 13 infectiously driven tracks, are well crafted lyrics infused with world messages to empower / provoke / and encourage the listener to, in the words of one of its' songs, “...Take Hope” – and another, “...Stand Up”, as HOPE was inspired by the election of our new President and pressing times. daVid heard the call to action and as a sensitive artist, met the challenge with HOPE. As a result of much traction and greater exposure this year and last, daVid's myspace grew from just under 3,000 plays/hits on his player, to 420,000 in just six months. daVid's music is currently available through Apple iTunes, Amazon.com, Napster, Rhapsody, eMusic, and SNOCAP. daVid's new book, You Are God!, available through amazon.com and lulu.com, also sends the same message of power and enlightenedment and is intended to be marketed as a 'boxed-set' with his THUNDERSOUNDS – The Complete Collection CD.
