My name is Amaris Clark...Amaris is Hebrew for "promised by God." Clark is my mother's maiden name and that side of the family where a majority of my musical ability comes from. My nickname is Phreek because that's exactly what I am...in more ways than one haha. Musically, I am a Phreek because I combine different elements from various genres to make my own unique style and sound. As a person I am a Phreek because I don't think or talk like anyone else that I have met. I like to be a mature person but I love being silly and laughing at simple things. I am not willing to change myself to please anyone but I am still finding myself with my music because music forces me to be completely honest and to look within myself in order to express what I feel has to be said and what needs to be said: whether its about people in general, whats going on in the world, whats going on with my life, or just what I think is going on with me and my never ending search to find truth. I like drinking with friends, hanging out with people and challenging their views just to see how deep they allow themselves to think. But no matter what life is a journey, and my music is made from my experience on that ride so while you're enjoying your journey just ride with me and experience mine too!!!
